7 Keys to Success and Fulfillment ~ Conclusion
The seventh key is to “Step Out”. People who are successful and fulfilled have come to realize that they will never grow, they will never be fulfilled if they allow themselves to live inside of their “comfort zone”. They recognize that a person only truly begins to experience all that life can be, when they “step out” and experience new things… demanding more from themselves and from life.
“If you do what you have always done, you will get what you always gotten.” Stepping out means taking chances, facing fears, learning new skills and experiencing life in a whole new way. As I like to say, “Life truly begins, at the end of your comfort zone.”
It is my hope that this short introduction gives you the inspiration to reach out and learn more about these 7 Keys to Success and Fulfillment. As with anything in life, there is so much you can learn, if you truly choose to, and this subject has endless possibilities for you.
I do promise that if you take what I have shared with you here, and begin applying it in your life, that you will begin to see results that amaze you.
I look forward to your questions, and to your success stories.

7 Keys to Success and Fulfillment ~ Part 4
Explaining the 5th and 6th key:
The fifth key is to “Exemplify Generosity”. People who are successful and fulfilled know the deeper meaning to the adage “giving is receiving” and therefore they are a living example of generosity. Begin to recognize right now, that if you want love… you need to give it. If you want compassion… you need to give it. Anything you want in life, if you first give it… whole heartedly and without attachment or expectation… you will receive it in return.
Giving without attachment or expectation is where most people run into trouble. So many people live in fear of “not receiving” what they want, that they give with the intention of “you better give me this back… or else”. That is not exemplifying generosity. There is a definite line between giving with a generous heart, and giving from a place of manipulation.
People who are successful and fulfilled give because they know that it lifts their energy, their spirit and their existence to do so. AND they are open to receive when it is returned to them in kind.
Whatever it is that you want to receive… love, compassion, respect, success, money… give generously to others… and you will receive in kind
The sixth key to success and fulfillment is “Live in Integrity”. If you look at the definition of Integrity it says “to live in adherence to a code of values”. Now the challenge is that many people expect you to live to a specific code of values, and expect “their” code… to be yours. Your values will be shaped by recognizing your “authentic self”. People who are successful and fulfilled are clear on what their values are and live by them. No matter what.
People who are successful and fulfilled also respect that their definition of being “in Integrity” is not always aligned with others, and they give other people the freedom to be who they are and live by those values.
The key for them, is that their lives have to be lived according to their values if they will ever be truly happy.

7 Keys to Success and Fulfillment ~ Part 3
By Willard Barth
The third key, is that people who are successful and fulfilled “Participate”. There is a huge difference between participating and being active in the process, and living life the way most people do, which is passing time waiting for life to “happen”. How many people do you know who are “waiting” for things to be just right before they start living? They’re waiting for their kids to grow up, for their job to change, for the right person to come along, to win the lottery, etc., etc.
People who are successful and fulfilled know that it is their responsibility to go out and “plug themselves in” to the Universe and be open to the resulting experience. They find resources that allow them to get active in pursuing their dreams. It can be signing up for a class, joining a networking group, reading books, talking with friends, joining a gym. They participate in the process rather than waiting for it to happen.
The fourth key is “Trust Life”. This has probably been one of the keys that I have personally struggled with the most. I was taught as a child, that to be successful, I needed to focus my energy and attention on the goal and don’t let anything get in my way. So, when I set my mind to something, I go into what I call “Bull dozer mode”. I think many of you can imagine what that mode is like. If anything got in my way, I just bull dozed right over it. Now… let me tell you… I achieved my goals. And… at a great cost to myself and others. You see, something I learned along the way is that Life, God, The Universe, whatever you choose to refer to that Higher Power as, will help you achieve ANYTHING you desire. AND that Source or Universal Intelligence knows a lot more about the skills and knowledge that you need to be successful and fulfilled than you do. I have learned that every time I begin experiencing things that are not aligned with where I think I am supposed to be going, it is because I am being given lessons, and tools that will help me achieve my goal, as well as manage and enjoy it when it comes to life.
Trusting life means that I have to realize that even when things are going the total opposite direction of where I believe they are supposed to be going, that there is an Intelligence greater than mine, that knows exactly what has to happen for me to get to my destination. The people who are successful and fulfilled trust life, and enjoy who they are becoming along the way.

7 Keys to Success and Fulfillment ~ Part 2
The second key we will explore is called “Being Authentic”. I was having a discussion with a dear friend recently about the power of “authenticity” and how it impacts every area of our lives. He was sharing how he was so frustrated with the way that people were being dishonest with him, and that he was finding that so many people who were coming to him for help would not keep their commitments.
I shared with him something I had heard recently that really affected me. I told him that I didn’t believe that these people were intentionally trying to mislead him, or that they intended to break their commitments. But that because they were not being authentic with themselves, about who they are, and who they desire to become, that they were so busy trying to live up to unrealistic expectations, that they were telling him what they thought he wanted to hear, and then not being able to follow through.
You see, I believe that many people live in a state of what we call “quiet desperation”. We have been taught all our lives who and what we “should be” based on other people’s perceptions of the world, and their expectations for us. Yet, inside we have a very specific and unique gift that we have come to share with the world. There is only one you… and you are here for a very specific purpose. Yet, most of us spend our lives trying to be someone else. We see someone we respect or admire, and spend our lives trying to be them. Or we believe what well meaning family, friends, teachers tell us and do our best to live as they want us to.
People who are successful and fulfilled recognize that their calling is their own. That they need to “embrace their duality” of what the world expects of them, and what their special abilities are, and create something unique and authentic. You see, when you embrace that duality, you step into a place of creation. By being “authentic” you take all the experiences that have been shared with you externally, and mix them with what your “internal compass” gives you, and when you do this, you are living “on purpose”

7 Keys to Success and Fulfillment ~ PART 1
So let’s get started. The first key that I want to share with you is that people who are both successful and fulfilled understand the “Power of New Dreams”. Understanding the Power of New Dreams is realizing that life is not about the destination, it is about the journey, and even more importantly, about who you become along the way. A sure recipe for feeling unsuccessful and unfulfilled is attaching too much expectation to a specific goal. So many people say “When I achieve this…” or “When this finally happens… THEN I will be successful and feel fulfilled.” The challenge is that rarely is the achievement what we expected. We reach the goal and are left feeling like there should be more... that we haven’t done enough yet.
People who are successful and fulfilled realize that the “outcome” is not as important as who we become along the way. What new skills did we need to learn? What experiences did we have? Who did we meet? And where has this brought us to in our lives? More importantly… now that we are at this new place, what opportunities has it created? What new perceptions do we have? And what can we do next? What new dreams has this one inspired?
Now… I want to be clear that this does not mean that you have to be building a multi-billion dollar enterprise. It can be in any area of your life. Let’s apply this idea to health. Let’s imagine that you want to lose weight. I think most of us would agree that we can think of a few people we know… maybe very well… who have set a goal for losing a specific amount of weight. Who have lost that weight, and then gained it right back. It is my belief that the reason they gained it back, was because they placed too much emphasis on the “goal” and did not pay attention to the process. Let me explain.
I have a friend who wanted to lose 20 pounds, and they did… repeatedly. We talked about this up and down experience they were having, and I shared with them the 7 Keys. One of the first things they decided to do was attach less meaning to the “goal” and agreed that their life was going to be a series of “New Dreams” and new goals. This became only one outcome that they were focused on in their journey. In effect, they changed their approach to, “Who do I need to become to achieve this goal?” and they started living AS the person they wanted to become. As they did this, they began finding other “new dreams”. They realized that if they were going to reshape their physical image of themselves, they needed to reshape their mental, emotional and spiritual vision of themselves. It was no longer about one “goal” but about recognizing their true potential, and living it.
Please understand that when working with clients, I actually dedicate a weekend to this process, where we explore in much more detail the practical and spiritual impact of the idea of “New Dreams” and help people gain a deeper understanding of how this one idea itself can transform your life. And, for the purpose of this article, let me simply share this idea with you. So many of us have gotten caught up in the idea of “making a living” that we have forgotten the power we have to “design our life”. So many people have given up on dreams to follow the path that is in front of them.
Remember that we are spiritual beings, who have been given the gift of life so that we could “experience” the true potential within ourselves and make manifest a life that is totally unique to who we are. We can only do this through applying these 7 Keys. It is my belief that constantly being aware of where we are, seeing what is there and what we desire to create is what keeps us alive and moving forward. “It is in the mind of the dreamer, that the future is shaped”

To start...In Willard's words:
Hello, my name is Willard Barth and I am here to share with you some key distinctions that will help you begin living a life of both Success and Fulfillment.
It has been my experience having been involved in the fields of personal and spiritual development for over 18 years that many people are leading lives that are not complete. People usually approach me for training and coaching because they have a huge desire to achieve more in their lives. They know they have the ability to do great things, but seem to be “stuck”, or… they have achieved great success, but still feel there is something more… that there is something they are missing.
I’m going to share with you right now what I call “The 7 Keys to Success and Fulfillment.” What you will become aware of, just as I did when these were shared with me, is that they are not a “step by step” process, but rather a set of ingredients that when mixed together, create a synergistic affect that makes success and fulfillment practically “effortless”.
By becoming aware of these 7 Keys and incorporating them into every area of your life, you will be guaranteed to see results in your health, your relationships, your finances, your career and your overall well being. You will find these 7 Keys to be profoundly effective in any area you choose to apply them.
First, I want to say that I believe success and fulfillment are 2 very personal experiences. What defines success and fulfillment for one person is not success and fulfillment to another. So as we explore these 7 Keys, I want you to make sure to take some time, to truly evaluate what those words mean to you. This is about creating the life that YOU deserve.
